Pay Any Invoice by Card
For whom: Companies and freelancers.
Paying an invoice used to feel like a mini obstacle course: download the PDF, log into your bank, type in all the details, transfer the money, then wait 2–3 days for it to arrive. Not anymore. Now clients open a payment form in their browser, pay by card, and money lands in the freelancer’s Mellow account right away.
What we did: Tested everything thoroughly and turned on card payments for everyone.
Invite Freelancers with One Click in AI Sourcing
For whom: Companies looking for contractors.
Found someone you want to work with? You don’t need to copy email addresses, write an intro from scratch, or deal with any of the usual back-and-forth anymore.
What we did: Added an “Invite freelancer” button to AI Sourcing. Click it once, and both people get an introduction email.

Share Gigs on Facebook Too
For whom: Companies looking for contractors.
People would click “Share” in AI Sourcing but then stall out because they didn’t have post text ready. Now it’s all set up for you – just hit the button and you’re done.
What we did: Built a Promo section that walks you through sharing your job posting.
It preps social posts for LinkedIn and Facebook, generates UTM tags, and tells you what to do next.

Sign Up in Two Steps
For whom: Anyone new to Mellow.
Just found the perfect freelancer in AI Sourcing? Or are you a contractor who’s ready to send your first invoice to a client? Invite them to Mellow – signing up takes less than a minute now.
What we did: Streamlined registration.
We took it from seven steps down to two. After running tests and digging through user data, we stripped it down to the essentials. Your login works everywhere – Mellow, AI Sourcing, Project Radar – so no juggling multiple accounts.

Project Radar Now Searches X (ex-Twitter)
For whom: Freelancers.
Beta users told us they find a lot of good work on X. So we added it.
What we did: Started pulling in posts from X so you get more opportunities in your daily roundup.
Your job picks should be fuller and more on-target now. Thanks for speaking up – we built this because you asked for it.
We Moved to the Cloud
For whom: Everyone using Mellow.
We care about speed and uptime, which is why Mellow now runs in the cloud. It’s faster and handles traffic spikes without breaking a sweat.
What we did: Migrated everything to bring all our products into one connected system.
Before, our tools lived separately – different databases, logins, the whole deal. Now they talk to each other, and one login gets you into everything. We’re building Mellow into a real ecosystem so you can jump between tools without friction.
