It’s an initiative by Mellow to support artists at VIMA 2026. Instead of a traditional jury, we give the power to you — the visitors — to decide who gets the funding.
Three artists will be selected. Each will receive a €3,000 grant to support their creative journey.
The grant is open to a curated selection of artists presenting their work at VIMA 2026. Look for the “Grant Participant” cards at the gallery booths to identify them.
Every visitor to the VIMA 2026 Art Fair is invited to cast a vote.
To ensure everyone has experienced the art in person, voting is exclusively offline at the Mellow Lounge.
- Browse the artists here or at the fair.
- Note the unique IDs (e.g., A05/3) of your top 3 favorites.
- Visit the Mellow Lounge, write the IDs on a physical ballot, and drop it in the voting box.
The voting box is located at the Mellow Lounge. You can find us by following the map or the directional signs throughout the fair, which will lead you straight to our large orange box — you certainly can’t miss it!
Each entry ticket to the fair entitles you to one ballot. You can choose up to three different artists on your card. Please note that duplicate IDs on a single ballot will only be counted as one vote.
The winners will be announced on Saturday, May 16, at 20:00 at the Mellow Lounge.
You can cast your vote starting from the first day of the fair until Saturday, May 16, at 18:00. After that, the voting boxes will be sealed for the final count.
Sustainability is key for us. All ballots are printed on 100% recycled paper and will be sent for professional recycling immediately after the winners are announced.
