Ieva Saudargaitė Douaihi is a multidisciplinary artist working across photography, video, installation, and sculptural assemblage. Her practice explores the intersections of memory, identity, and the shifting boundaries between the natural and built environment.
Moving fluidly between documentary and poetic intervention, she traces how personal and collective histories are embedded in images, materials, and landscapes. Her work engages with processes of transformation, material memory, and the layered narratives carried by images and objects. Incorporating found photographs, organic matter, and hybrid forms, she constructs tactile constellations that evoke both intimacy and estrangement.
She is the founder of Takeover, an artist-run project space in Beirut. Extending into scenography and installation, her approach treats display as integral to meaning; creating immersive constellations where image, object, and space unfold in dialogue.
