Your Story Interactive makes mobile games for a broad audience. Their flagship title, "Romance Club," is one of the most popular interactive games in the world. Their team of around 260 people is split roughly in half: artists on one side, writers, integrators, testers, technical designers, translators, and editors on the other. Some work from the studio in Chișinău, but most are scattered across the US, Europe, Canada, Japan, Thailand, and Russia.

The pandemic shifted the studio to a hybrid model – some people in the office, others working remotely. For management, this created a pressing question: how do you run a distributed team this size so that everyone gets onboarded smoothly, paid on time, and properly documented – no matter where in the world they’re working from?
